Works of Lord Naran Numuchi
Fall Crown Tourney - 11/6/2010
This quiver was made for Maighread Hekja. It has a round, broad base so she can set it on the ground without it falling over. The motif is a leopard from the Mammen Viking culture.
Unsubmitted
Turko-Mongol quiver, unsubmitted. Design is based on pictures from the time of the Mongol Conquests, in the works of Rashad El Din, and a quiver of Mongol Banner
origin from the Quing dynasty. The ornamentation in the middle is the Mongolian 'horn' motif, and the reinforcing plaques from which the straps hang are period
Hungarian. The stitching on the bottom is not the same as the rest because it is mainly to keep the sides close to the wooden base, to keep arrow points from
pushing between the leather and the wood.
