Upcoming Events, Practices & Meetings
A request has been port forth to each of the Baronies of our wonderful kingdom! Her excellency and I are looking to
our populace to help us come up with ideas or concepts in support of this ask! We would love to hear perspectives,
concepts, traditions etc. anything that reflects what Ponte Alto has been, has become, and will continue to be (as
is reflected in the message here).
Also, to this same event, we are currently pulling together largess and gifts for Wilhelm and Genevieve, so if you
have any items you would like us to include, please reach out to coordinate getting them collected up and into the
basket!
As the Kingdom prepares for the Coronation of Wilhelm and Genevieve on April 4, 2026, Their Royal Highnesses have
shared a vision they wish to bring to life with the aid and creativity of the Baronies.
Their desire is to honor both the old traditions of Atlantia and the living present, through a kingdom-wide
Pilgrimage undertaken on the day of Coronation. Each Barony is respectfully requested to create a station or
offering that reflects who you are—past, present, and enduring.
Specifically, Their Royal Highnesses ask each Barony to consider the following in their presentation:
Remembrance: Honor those nobles or beloved members of your Barony who have passed on and whose legacy helped shape
your lands.
Recognition: Celebrate those who currently serve, inspire, or exemplify the spirit of your Barony today.
Identity: Highlight what your Barony is known for—whether that be heavy fighting, rapier, archery, arts & sciences,
service, scholarship, or another pursuit that defines your people.
The Pilgrimage stations will be visited by the populace throughout the day, alongside the scheduled Heavy Fighting
Tourney, Rapier Tourney, Archery activities, and access to a dayboard provided for all.
Their Royal Highnesses offer Their deepest gratitude in advance for the care, creativity, and love that the Baronies
will bring to this day. Together, we will create a Coronation that is not only witnessed, but walked—a living
testament to Atlantia itself.
Thank you all!

New Google Group replacing old Email distro
Greetings from your seneschal!
Some of you might be familiar with the email distro that we as a barony
had for Ponte Alto. The email distro (in general) saw little use, and
(after the host experienced a hard drive crash a year or two ago) the
archives for the email list no longer archive anything.
The kingdom has been moving to Google Groups as a replacement for the old
email lists. And now Ponte Alto has one!
If you'd like to join the group, it can be found at
https://groups.google.com/a/group.atlantia.sca.org/g/pontealto
You'll get an error message saying "you don't have permission to access
this content"
Click the "asking to join the group" option!
There's not much in the way of content yet, but hopefully as we get used
to the new group, it will become an additional/alternate to keep up to
date on Ponte Alto events and activities!
