No July Business Meeting
There will be no business meeting in July, as the Baronage and much of the populace will be attending Pennsic.
We will resume our regular business meetings and potluck Sundays in August. Business meetings will continue at our usual site at
St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Additionally, the Barony is pleased to announce that, thanks to recent construction at the church, our meeting
site is now handicapped accessible.
St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 7426 Idylwood Rd, Falls Church, VA 22043
Take your best route to I-66. Get off at the exit for Route 7 West (Tysons Corner). Turn left at the first light
after the interchange onto Idlywood Rd. The church is up the hill on the right about 1/4 mile.

To All Heavy Weapons Fighters of Ponte Alto and Its Environs!
A reminder to those to attend marshal activities and practice
at Fairfax County Public Schools: Fairfax County Schools do not allow any form
of real weapons, even work knives, Swiss Army knives, etc., to be brought onto
school property. Please be respectful of this rule so that we may continue having
our practices at schools. Thank you!
Ponte Alto is continually seeking submissions from our local artisans for our
online gallery of A&S projects.
If you are interested in displaying your work, whether finished or in-progress,
send your photographs and descriptions to the MOAS.

Potluck Heavy Weapons Practices
Back by popular demand! The Barony of Ponte Alto will resume having a
potluck picnic along with its Sunday afternoon heavy weapons practice in Tysons-Pimmit Park
from 12:00 to 4:00 PM, on the same Sunday as the monthly Baronial business meeting is scheduled,
and will continue into the autumn for as long as fair weather will permit (except for July,
when the monthly business meeting is cancelled in lieu of Pennsic War).
All members of the populace are invited to attend. Heavy weapons and light
weapons fighters, arts and sciences creators and dancers and other performers are welcome to come
and fight / craft / entertain / practice their specialty. Potluck participants bringing dishes
are requested to bring modest amounts of food (5-8 servings). Gentles from our neighboring Baronies
of Stierbach and Storvik are also most welcome to participate. (See the Monthly Calendar on the
Baronial Website for Directions).
Please contact Deputy Knight's Marshal, Duncan the Elder (duncan.l.cooper AT gmail.com)
to coordinate; and as always, cross-post, where appropriate.
